EZULWINI – Six international comedians will grace the Eswatini International Comedy Festival on September 27, 2024 at the Sibane Sami Hotel in Ezulwini.
Doors will open at 6:00pm and the show is slated to start at 7:00pm.
So far six international comedians have been announced who will make up the line-up , these are: Siya Seya, Smowkey Nyemebe both from South Africa ,Chingliz from Zambia, Thapelo Malani from Botswana, Masapo from Lesotho, and Mbongeni Ignititius from Zimbabwe. Local comedians who have been announced to be part of the line-up are , Mdura, Dr Shakes ,Cedric Cappuccino, and Sbu Ngwenya. This was confirmed by the Festival Director of the show, Dr Shakes, born Bonginkosi Dlamini.

When reached for comment, he said, “We are thrilled to announce the stellar line-up for the highly anticipated Eswatini International Comedy Festival, set to take place next month. This festival promises to be an unforgettable night filled with laughter, featuring some of the finest comedic talent from across the region. The second headliner, Mbongeni Ignatius Ndlovu from Zimbabwe, is not new to Dr. Shakes’ shows; he has performed in one of his series of shows themed bundles of jokes. He is a household name in the comedy circuit and combines clever storytelling with hilarious observations, making them a crowd favourite wherever they perform.
According to Dr Shakes from Eswatini, the line -up includes Sbu Ngwenya, who has a knack for turning everyday situations into comedy gold; there’s also Cedric, who has a way of connecting with audiences that leaves them in stitches. In addition to these incredible performers, the festival will also feature a host of talented local comedians, providing a platform for Eswatini’s finest to showcase their skills alongside international stars.
