SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE RAISES A STAR

MBABANE – Meet Mcebo Zwane, who was raised at SOS Children’s Village since he was three years old.

He is proof that success is possible from humble beginnings.

Zwane’s story is one of hard work and big dreams, making him a role model for young people in the country.

“The SOS Children’s Village gave me a safe place to grow. They helped me focus on school, and that changed everything,” said Mcebo.

Due to the influence of his teachers and house mother, Mrs. Vilakati, Zwane excelled in his studies. His dedication paid off with scholarships to top schools. These scholarships included doing his secondary education at Waterford Kamhlaba College and another one in the United States of AmericaUSA). His persistence has earned him a degree in Business administration with a Marketing focus at Wartburg College.

Zwane works at a hom improvement store where he applies his knowledge. He works as an assistant manager. Zwane says his greatest joy is his family, his wife, Rebecca,whom he married in 2021. They have a son named Aiden.
