MBABANE – SOS Children’s Villages staff is undergoing a training on database and reporting at Manzini library.
Speaking to this publication, SOS Children’s Villages Communication Coordinator Temalangeni Dlamini said the training was for educating the SOS Children’s Villages staff on database and reporting ,especially the ones who went to communities and also visited homes.
Dlamini said they are looking at how as they work with communities, homes and children can calculate the number of people they are working with. This is due to the fact that SOS Children’s Villages work with a lot of people across the four regions of the country. “This training is for finding ways we can improve the way we report as an organisation of SOS Children’s Villages and it also helps in how to use the right tools as we report,” said Dlamini.
She further said they are also looking at how they provide accurate information to stakeholders and donors. “We also look at what we can do to make sure our reports are accurate for those we work with and for those who donate us money,” said Dlamini.
