MBABANE – Afro Pop and AfroBeats sensation Street Cooper is making a major comeback with the release of his highly anticipated single, “Inhlonipho,” set to drop on 23 May 2025 across all digital platforms.
Born Sanele Streetwise Sihlongonyane in Mbekelweni and now based in Pretoria, South Africa, Street Cooper has become known for his unique fusion of Afro Pop and AfroTrap. With his new single, he’s returning with a message that’s both personal and culturally resonant.
“Inhlonipho,” meaning “Respect” in SiSwati, is more than just a song—it’s a lyrical tribute to heritage and human connection. “It’s about honouring our cultural roots and traditions,” says Street Cooper. The track delves into what it means to give and earn respect, bridging generational and cultural gaps through music.
To bring this project to life, Street Cooper collaborated with leading producers and engineers. The beat was produced by Brindajoy Beatz, while Tus Mvuleni handled vocal recording. The single was mixed and mastered by Sean Cast, giving it a polished, international sound.
This release marks Street Cooper’s first official drop since May 2022, showcasing a matured sound while staying true to his infectious energy and signature style. Known for his high-energy performances and catchy hooks, he’s ready to reclaim the spotlight.
