MANZINI – Eswatini is gearing up for a night where music meets magic, as the much-anticipated Sunset Concert 3.0 returns under the theme “A Rare Stage.”
Scheduled for 22 November 2025, the event will offer a rich fusion of genres – from classical and opera to Afro-soul, jazz, acoustic, and pop. Although organisers have not yet disclosed the venue, excitement is already building across the entertainment scene.
The concert will showcase an impressive roster of local talent, including Zinia, Celumusa Mkhaliphi, Sethu Magagula, Mongezi Simelane, and Pop Opera sensation Celumusa “Ceceboy” Mkhatshwa. Each performer will bring a distinct sound, creating a musical tapestry that reflects Eswatini’s growing artistic identity.
The driving force behind the initiative, Ceceboy, is not only a celebrated vocalist but also a passionate advocate for artist development. Known for representing Eswatini on stages such as the Africa Youth Orchestra Festival Vision Concert in Pretoria and the Luju Festival, he says the event is about more than entertainment.
“This platform is about nurturing emerging musicians while giving them the experience and confidence to take on global stages,” he explained.
Preparations for the concert span four months, covering composition, rehearsals, staging and promotion, with September and October focused on partnerships and marketing. This year’s edition also carries a strong message of inclusion, with performances from artists living with disabilities – reinforcing music as a space where all voices can be heard.
Tickets are now on sale at CMB Production Studio (Manzini Mall) and Berachah Kitchen (Mzimnene), priced at E200 for General and E400 for VIP. Supporters can make enquiries or reserve seats by contacting 7633 4127.
As the sun sets on 22 November, audiences can expect an unforgettable evening where talent, passion, and national pride converge on one rare and remarkable stage.
