MBABANE – The line keeps getting bigger!
The Hhohho first edition of the Magazine Spring Festival, which will be held at Killarney Sport Ground on August 31, 2024, has added beloved Gospel singer Thabile Myeni to their line-up.
Big-G Entertainment Communications Officer Nonjabuliso Shiba confirmed this yesterday in an interview with this publication. The festival is set to commence at 6pm until late.
She said, “Yes, we’ve added Thabile Myeni to the line-up. Big-G Entertainment is all about giving their audience what they want. We choose our line-up based on audience insights and surveys that we conduct to find out what or who they would like to see perform at the festival. Also, we wanted to balance Gospel music with other genres since we only had Phathwakahle,” Shiba said.
It is worth noting that the legendary Myeni will be performing the crowd favourites ‘Sizobizwa Masinyane’ and ‘Angeke Ahlale Angezwa,’ as well as her latest hit, ‘Ngiyaya Nami eShilo.’ Fans can look forward to reliving the nostalgia of her timeless songs and experiencing her new hit, a powerful display of her vocal prowess and song writing skills.
Shiba expressed her excitement for Myeni’s upcoming performance, stating that her fans are in for a treat. “Gospel music fans must get ready to soak in the sights and sounds of their favourite artist,” she said.
The festival’s headliners are South African artists Gqom queen Babes Wodumo and the renowned ‘hit after hit’ hit maker, Gatsheni, are set to enthral the audience with their captivating performances. These incredible artists will bring their powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence to the festival, making for an unforgettable experience for fans.
