MANZINI – The George Hotel went all out to celebrate the special women in our lives this past Mother’s Day, serving over 200 delighted guests at their exquisite buffet lunch. The restaurant was filled with mothers who were visibly overjoyed, their smiles radiating throughout the beautifully decorated space. As the clock struck noon, marking the start of the festivities, the first radiant mother, accompanied by her daughters, was welcomed into an atmosphere of warmth and profound appreciation.

From the moment they arrived, mothers were made to feel like royalty. Each was greeted with a delicate pink rose, a refreshing welcome drink, and a delectable Lindt chocolate, small gestures that spoke volumes of the hotel’s thoughtful planning and created an immediate sense of delight.
The highlight of the occasion was undoubtedly the lavish buffet, a testament to culinary excellence. Prepared by a dedicated team under the leadership of Executive Chef Siya Mashinini, the spread was nothing short of spectacular. Guests indulged in a variety of mouthwatering dishes, each crafted with the finest ingredients and presented with artistic flair, contributing to the palpable joy in the room.

Adding to the celebratory ambiance was the captivating entertainment lined up for the afternoon. The talented Judah serenaded the mothers with his melodious tunes, creating a soothing and enjoyable atmosphere that further enhanced their happy experience.
This was followed by a truly special performance that left a lasting impression on everyone present.
The incredible Sancheziey graced The George Hotel with his presence, treating the audience to a heartfelt rendition of his popular song, “Siyabonga Gogo.” The poignant lyrics, dedicated to grandmothers and mothers alike, resonated deeply with the attendees, making the moment truly unforgettable and adding another layer to the mothers’ evident happiness.
