MBABANE – Premier League players have urged supporters to continue attending football matches in large numbers, as this significantly motivates them.
They expressed that the standard of the game would improve as a result. Manzini Sea Birds Captain Muzi Tsabedze and Mbabane Swallows Captain Kingsley Kwakyi remarked on the encouraging atmosphere created by a sizable crowd, and they eagerly anticipate this on Sunday when the two sides clash during the MTN Premier League Y’ello Sunday.
Tsabedze acknowledged their opponent’s substantial fan base, stating that they are prepared to give their all in the match to secure maximum points.
“As a team, we are working diligently to improve our position on the log. We invite our supporters to come in large numbers to support us, as their presence motivates us, and we do not wish to disappoint them,” he said.
Kwakyi of Swallows noted that if the fans filled the venue, the players would exert every effort, finding it encouraging playing in front of a large crowd.
“Our fans have consistently stood by us by attending our games. We continue to encourage them to come out in numbers, and we are determined to bring the three points’ home. The team has lost several players, but we are confident that the newly signed players will strengthen the squad as they are working hard,” he stated.
