MBABANE – The champions of the Tinkhundla Under-20 Football tournament are expected to be crowned on Saturday from the four country’s regions.
All the semi-finals and finals at regions will be played on August 24, 2024, with the semi-finals first and the finals in the afternoon. The organising committee released the fixtures on Wednesday (August 21, 2024).
The winners in the regions being Hhohho, Lubombo, Shiselweni and Manzini would be handed the E20 000 first prize money.
Hhohho will host its semi-finals and finals at Mkhuzweni Technical Centre. The first semi-finals will be between Timphisini and Motshane at 9am while Hhukwini and Lobamba will clash at 11am in the second semi-finals. The finals would start at 3pm.
Shiselweni will host their game at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium. Shiselweni II will face Gege at 9am and Nkwene would be up against Sigwe at 11am in the semi-finals with the finals to kick-off at 3pm.
Manzini Region Tinkhundla would be playing at Ludzeludze Sports Ground. First to play would be Mafutseni and Kwaluseni at 9am and the second semi-finals would be between Mkhiweni and LaMgabhi. Finals start at 3pm.
Lubombo Region will play at KaLanga Technical Centre where Lomahasha faces Lubulini in the first semi-finals then Lugongolweni will play against Mhlume at 1am and the finals would also kick-off at 3pm.
