MBABANE – The Tjovitjo brand has confidence of local corporates which have come on board to facilitate his trip to attend the award ceremony where he is nominated in South Africa.
The two sponsors are Ensure Insurance Brokers and Melane Leather.
Tjovitjo, born Mzwakhe Khumalo, has been nominated and has qualified as a finalist in the Best MC of the Year category at the Rise to Greater Heights Retreat and Awards. The wards will be held in KwaZulu Natal (KZN) Durban North, on Saturday, (August 24, 2024).
When reached for comment, Tjovitjo shared with this publication that he is honoured and acknowledges his deep gratitude to Ensure Insurance Brokers for their generous sponsorship, which has made it possible for him to attend the esteemed Rise to Greater Heights Retreat and Awards this weekend.
When asked what he was hoping for, he said, “I’m hoping to bring the award home. For me, going there is huge because it’s an honour in itself.” He added by stating that being recognised at the Rise to Greater Heights Retreat and Awards Ceremony was a significant milestone for me, and I am immensely thankful to Ensure Insurance Brokers for their support.
This sponsorship not only covers essential aspects of his participation, including travel (fuel costs), accommodation, and meals, but it also represents a vote of confidence in his work and dedication to the arts. Meanwhile, Melane Leather gifted him with a leather bag to carry his files.
It is worth mentioning that this nomination adds a feather to his hat in that he will be a moderator at this auspicious event. Khumalo was voted for online by members of the public, where he qualified as a finalist.
