MBABANE – Young producer TraxBeats joins Elbee iGhost for uplifting Afro-pop single “Skeem Saam.”
Rising Eswatini producer Tracy Makhabane, popularly known as TraxBeats, is back in the spotlight with an exciting new collaboration titled “Skeem Saam.” The much-anticipated Afro-pop single features Elbee iGhost and is set for release on October 25, 2025, exclusively on YouTube.
Born and raised in Stibeni, Mbabane, TraxBeats has steadily made a name for himself in Eswatini’s growing music scene. A versatile producer who enjoys exploring multiple genres, he is best known for his hip-hop expertise. TraxBeats is also the founder and CEO of Lufafa Records, a record label he established in February 2025 with the mission of supporting upcoming artists by offering free recording, high-quality mastering, and performance opportunities.
“Lufafa Records was inspired by where I grew up. I wanted to give back by helping young artists rise without worrying about costs,” Trax explained. The label operates in partnership with Jabulani Entertainment (JE) and collaborates with The Smile Production (TSP), founded by Anele Makhabane (Diaz McCabainie), which provides free video production for all Lufafa-recorded tracks.
TraxBeats has previously worked on several notable projects including “Thank You Mama” with Braa J, CEO of JE Entertainment, a heartfelt tribute to women worldwide, and “What I Mean” alongside Endo and Mfanankoyoyo, both produced under IMS Production. He has also performed alongside artists like Bhaletho Ngcamphalala (Elbee iGhost), Braa J, and Phandokuhle Shongwe, all under the Lufafa Records umbrella.
Speaking about “Skeem Saam,” Trax shared that the song is a dedication to everyone who has supported him and his team through their musical journey, including all executives of Lufafa Records, JE Entertainment, and The Smile Production.
As he continues to shape his sound and expand his reach, TraxBeats expressed hopes of collaborating with Mabonwa Mabulawe in future projects. With “Skeem Saam” on the horizon, TraxBeats is proving that his vision for Eswatini’s music industry goes far beyond beats, it’s about building a movement.
