Fakudze also informed the king that the UEDF also handed a cheque of E60 000 to the Indlovukazi, which would be handed over to Philani Maswati Charity Organisation to help the elderly people in the country.

Fakudze expressed happiness to the king that the army hosted His Majesty at the Mbuluzi Infantry School, where the king was informed of what was happening when the UEDF trained its recruits. The king visited the infantry school last month. To the UEDF, this showed that the king was committed to ensuring that the military organisation improved and transformed.

He further told the king that 23 chiefs who are soldiers were undergoing training on leadership at Mbuluzi. Fakudze also stated that one of the chiefs was undertaking a course in Zambia and was to graduate in a not-so-distant future. In response, the king thanked the UEDF for the gifts. He also commended the army for handing over the E60 000 cheque to help the elderly people.
