Uncle Waffles, born Lungelihle Zwane, has reached an impressive milestone in her music career with her latest track ‘Wadibusa’ surpassing 25 million streams on Spotify. As of the article’s compilation, the exact count stands at 25,739,743 streams.
It is worth noting that ‘Wadibusa’ is her second track to achieve this remarkable milestone on Spotify.The song features collaborations with artists Ohp Sage, Pcee, and Djy Biza.
Uncle Waffles’ track ‘Yahyppiyah’, featuring Pcee, EeQue, and Chl, holds the title of her highest streamed song on Spotify, currently sitting at 27,280,170 streams. Following closely is ‘Tanzania’, which has garnered 2,926,233 streams.
Earlier this week, Uncle Waffles was featured as the cover girl for the Valentine’s edition of Rolling Stone Africa, marking a significant achievement in her career. Last month she was recognized as the second most popular female artist in South Africa on Audiomack.
Last June, she embarked on a world tour titled ‘Uncle Waffles: Less Talk, More Piano’, which began in Paris and is set to conclude in Asia on November 29. The tour has taken her across various continents, including Europe, Australia, North America, Asia, and Africa.
