MBABANE – In a significant move to support vulnerable groups, USAID has donated toys and laptops worth E160,000 to the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.

The donation was officially received by Principal Secretary Dorcas Dlamini and will benefit the One Stop Centre located at the Mbabane Government Hospital.

The One Stop Centre provides critical services, including medical care, legal assistance, and psychosocial support, to survivors of abuse and other vulnerable individuals. The newly donated laptops are expected to improve administrative efficiency, enabling the Centre to deliver streamlined and effective services. Meanwhile, the toys will offer comfort and emotional support to children visiting the Centre during challenging times.

Principal Secretary Dlamini expressed gratitude for the generous contribution and highlighted its potential to enhance the Centre’s operations. “These resources will go a long way in creating a supportive and efficient environment for those in need of our services, particularly children and survivors of abuse,” she said.

USAID’s donation underscores its commitment to strengthening community support systems and improving access to essential services in Eswatini. The partnership between USAID and the Ministry of Justice continues to bring positive change, ensuring that those in vulnerable situations receive the care and support they deserve.

The One Stop Centre remains a beacon of hope, providing a safe and supportive space for individuals seeking assistance.
