MBABANE – With all eyes on Nsingizini Hotspurs after taking the lead in the MTN Premier League with five games remaining, the club’s President Derrick Shiba has urged all stakeholders to give full support in the remaining matches.
The Shiselweni based side will play Manzini Sea Birds on Saturday, (April 26, 2025) at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, Mbabane Swallows, Mbabane Highlanders, Rangers and Sidvwashini United.
If they will all the remaining games, they will be crowned champions of the MTN Premier league for the first time while if they sleep up, second placed Royal Leopard will snatch the title. The Police side is yet to play Sisonkhe on Saturday at Mayaluka Stadium, Rangers, Madlenya, Manzini Sea Birds and Green Mamba to end the season.
In a statement, the team’s President Derrick Shiba said this is the time that calls for mental strength from everyone.
“Greetings Nsingizini Hotspurs Football Club family, we appreciate the work that has been done by everyone in the club, to take us where we are today. This is the time that calls for mental strength from everyone. We need to be resilient to adapt to the growing pressure of the next five (5) finals.
This is the time to manage and control emotions to avoid being overwhelmed by the situation. We have the mindset of champions, and we understand the emotions, motivations, strength and weaknesses to better navigate this this period,” reads part of the statement.
Shiba then called the Nsinginzini Hotspurs family to rally behind the club and fills up the stadium in the remaining five finals.
