MBABANE – A much-anticipated collaboration is on the horizon!

Young Zesh, the NACA 2024 Outstanding Afro-pop artist and rising star born Mzwandile Comfort Ginindza (24), is featured on the track Mina Nawe, alongside South African artists Senzo Africa, Mlindo The Vocalist, and Masiano. The song is set for release on all major digital platforms on January 31, 2025.

Young Zesh shared insights into the collaboration, stating, “Mlindo handles the hook with Senzo Africa, who also performs the first verse. I’m on the second verse, and Masiano wraps up the track with the final verse. Mina Nawe will officially drop on January 31.”

The love-themed song narrates the story of a man asking his partner to leave him after her public misbehavior, which includes cheating, excessive drinking, and community harassment. These actions have not only embarrassed him but also sparked public criticism.

“For me, the process was seamless because the hook was already there, and I could relate to the theme. I had a story to tell because I’ve witnessed similar situations before. Working with such renowned names in the South African music industry was incredible. It feels like I’m edging closer to the mainstream, and my work continues to shine,” said the artist.

Young Zesh encouraged his supporters to back the new release, saying, “I’m humbly asking emaSwati to stream the song, as it features one of their own. We also plan to promote it through a tour.”

Hailing from Somnjalose, Young Zesh is known for his record-breaking hit KaKhoza. In December 2024, he was nominated in six categories at the National Arts and Culture Awards (NACA) and walked away with the Outstanding Afro-Pop Award. The eighth edition of the awards took place on December 14, 2024, at Esibayeni Lodge.

Young Zesh’s collaboration with such prominent artists marks another milestone in his promising career, as he continues to make strides in the Afro-pop scene.
