MBABANE – Stylish, refreshed, and smoother than ever — that’s how the iconic 23:28 Lounge is reintroducing itself to the public after a vibrant revamp.

Located in Mbabane Business Park, the popular entertainment hotspot has just completed a full makeover, confirmed by owner and CEO Thembinkosi Mthethwa.

The transformation, completed in just one week, comes courtesy of a partnership with DoubleMalt, a brand under Swaziland Beverages, whose signature tagline “Extra Smooth” now perfectly matches the lounge’s new aesthetic.

“It actually took us a week to give our three-year-old ‘baby’ a new look,” said Mthethwa. “And honestly, it’s looking extra smooth — just like our sponsor’s slogan. It’s now looking revamped, refreshed and ready to impress our clients.”

The makeover follows similar renovations at Ocean Cuisine in Manzini, also sponsored by the beverage brand.
23:28 Lounge, which opened post-COVID in 2022, continues to grow as one of Eswatini’s leading nightlife destinations, known for blending style, comfort, and high-energy performances.
