MBABANE—Who will take it home?
The seventh edition of the Jumbo Festival yesterday shared the names of the leaders in each category for this year’s edition.
This year’s edition has 16 categories. The festival will be held on November 9, 2024, at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. This was confirmed by the founder and brains behind the festival, philanthropist and entrepreneur Jumbo Khumalo.
The nominations officially opened on Thursday, 29 August 2024, and closed on 10 September 2024.
The 16 categories are;
1. Husband of The Year
2. Makoti of the Year
3. Couple of the Year
4. Teen of the Year
5. Entertainment Personality of the Year
6. Gospel Personality of the Year
7. Sports/ Arts Personality of the Year
8. Business Personality of the Year
9. Corporate Personality of the Year
10. Fashion/Beauty Personality of the Year
11. Mainstream/ Social Media Personality of the Year
12. Next Big Personality of the Year
13. Hustler of the Year
14. Female Best Dressed
15. Male Best Dressed
16. Best Dressed Duo.

This year’s edition will have a karaoke session. The awards ceremony and after-party event will be at the same venue, the festival is slated for 6pm to 6am.
The Jumbo Festival is a socio-corporate event where the working class and small business owners meet and greet. According to Khumalo the festival is not too casual where decent people can’t feel comfortable, and at the same time, it’s not too formal to an extent where it can be boring.
It is worth mentioning that Jumbo boasts over 80 000 followers on Facebook. He is also an MC, influencer, author, columnist, mentor, and founder of the Jumbo Festival.
