LOBAMBA – The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) has issued a call for strict adherence to traffic rules for those attending the opening of the Second Session of the 12th Parliament.
Motorists are urged to arrive early in Lobamba to secure parking spaces and avoid disruptions. By 10 a.m., all attendees should have arrived to ensure that preparations for the arrival of Their Majesties proceed smoothly without inconvenience.
The police have designated specific entry and exit points for the event. The sole entry point to the Parliament premises will be via the traffic circle near the Lobamba Police and Fire Stations. Similarly, the exit point will be through the traffic circle at Nkhanini, next to the Lobamba Army Base. These routes will apply to all attendees, irrespective of their status or position.
Parking arrangements have been carefully planned to accommodate attendees:

- Presiding Officers and VVIP Escorts: Vehicles belonging to the Senate President, House of Assembly Speaker, and VVIP escorts will park behind the Parliament building.
- Royal Family: Parking spaces accessed through the main gate are reserved for members of the Royal Family. Broadcast media vehicles (EBIS, Eswatini TV, and Channel YemaSwati) and one ambulance will also be granted access to this area.
- Legislators: Members of Parliament and senators will park near the National Church.
- Ministers: Designated parking will be available in the vicinity of the National Museum.
- Parliament Staff: Staff members are to park their vehicles near the National Archives.
