EZULWINI—Save the date for a sisterhood conversation on Valentine’s Day!
Palsam Lifestyle Consultancy is to host a Girly Girls Valentines Dinner, which will be held at Happy Valley Hotel on 14 February 2025, as confirmed by the Founder and Director, Samu Magagula.
When reached for a comment, Magagula shared with this publication that the consultancy agency has partnered with Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse (SWAGGA) for the event. She commented, “Gender-Based Violence (GBV) remains a significant challenge in Eswatini, affecting women and girls greatly. In an effort to address the issue, Palsam Lifestyle Consultancy has partnered with SWAGGA to help ladies understand the red and green flags around GBV. We believe the sisterhood is a form of therapy, and girly girls need a platform that will encourage them to prioritise self-love, mental health, and wellness,” shared the founder.
She added, “Ladies should not spend Valentine’s Day alone. We have something special for them. Please come and join us for a wholesome evening of sisterhood conversations that will inspire them and leave an impact.”
It is worth mentioning that the panel of speakers of the event has not been revealed yet.
PALSAM Lifestyle Consultancy was established in 2016 and is an all-female platform aimed at forming a community that empowers, educates, and impacts ladies to thrive in the feminist through education, entrepreneurship, and self-care.
Magagula shared that there is a great sense of hopelessness and lack of role models for young women. She said, “This platform seeks to create an environment that brings young people closer to the people they look up to while encouraging the fostering of positive peer relations.”
The first edition of this type of gathering was held in 2018 at the Happy Valley Hotel. South African renowned award-winning actress Sindi Dlathu, as well as now Mbabane Municipal Council of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gciniwe Fakudze formed part of the panel of speakers.
