MANZINI– The Eswatini International Trade Fair has spent the week giving crowds plenty of reasons to stick around, but the final Sunday is shaping up to have its own soundtrack, with South African maskandi star Mthandeni SK leading the closing-day entertainment.
Mthandeni SK, known for his energetic maskandi performances, will headline the Sunday Experience, bringing a South African flavour to the final stretch of the Trade Fair.
His appearance comes as EITF reaches its last day, after an entertainment programme that has already moved between gospel, local acts, DJs and visiting South African performers.
The maskandi star will share the stage with DJ Mixmash, Shephard Brothers, DJ Croocks and DJ KL, creating a line-up that moves between live performances and DJ sets.
Holding the crowd together will be MCs Missy Unique and Sintour, who will take charge of the microphone as the entertainment rolls from one act to the next.
For Mthandeni SK, the EITF appearance brings a different kind of audience into the mix, with maskandi’s storytelling and rhythmic energy finding its way into a Trade Fair programme that has catered for different musical tastes throughout the week.
And with Sunday being the final day of EITF 2026, the experience is likely to carry that familiar end-of-event feeling people squeezing in one last walk around the fairgrounds, meeting up with friends and, eventually, finding their way towards the music.
After six days of exhibitions, business, culture and entertainment, Mthandeni SK and the supporting acts will have the final say on the soundtrack of EITF 2026.
