MBABANE – Join the Makoti Challenge for a chance to win free tickets to the Makoti Festival! The fourth edition of the festival will be held on April 26, 2025, at the Malkerns Country Club. This exciting event is presented by New Life Entertainment in partnership with the Illa Penboy Foundation.

Festival Lineup
The lineup for the fourth edition of the festival includes:
– Gogo Mpila (76), a living legend
– Dr. Rebecca Malope, South African Queen of Gospel
– Lizha James, Mozambique’s queen of Afro-beat
– Khuzani, a powerhouse in Maskandi music
– Other notable acts such as Shongwe Ne Khuphuka, Siyinqaba Duo (Muti and KrTC), Young Zesh, Mshikishi Mndzebele, and King Kanga.
Festival Purpose
The Makoti Festival aims to promote Eswatini culture and celebrate modern women, including both married and unmarried individuals, as well as young girls who aspire to embrace the role of a makoti. The festival will feature fashion and food stalls, along with live performances, creating a vibrant celebration of community and culture.
