And what better way to break in the revamped stadium than with the electrifying Ingwenyama Cup Knockout Finals? The stage is set, the prize is massive—E1.45 million—and two fierce contenders, Royal Leopard and Moneni Pirates, are gearing up for the ultimate battle.
Minister of Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima, who toured the stadium ahead of the final, hailed the upgrade as a “game-changer for local sports.” He emphasized that the new-look Somhlolo aligns with Eswatini’s vision to nurture talent and attract global sporting opportunities.
