Minister of Sports, Culture, and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima, who toured the stadium ahead of the final, hailed the upgrade as a “game-changer for local sports.” He emphasized that the new-look Somhlolo aligns with Eswatini’s vision to nurture talent and attract global sporting opportunities.
