MBABANE – After finishing 19th in the SuperSport Ladies Challenge presented by Sun International a fortnight ago, professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini will be back in action.
The Lobamba-born player will tee-off on Wednesday (March 19th, 2025) in the Platinum Ladies Open under the Sunshine Ladies Tour. The tournament is sponsored to the tune of E1 million. The tournament will be played for over three days.
It would be played at the Blair Atholl Golf and Equestrian Estate – SLT. According to the Sunsine Ladies Tour, the Blair Atholl Golf and Equestrian Estate is at t over 7 500 meters. The Blair Atholl Golf Course is the third longest course in the world and it takes in all the different features and moods of the Estate.
It is the former home of golfing legend, Mr Gary Player. The course is a Gary Player design and forms the heart of the estate with its rolling greens and meadows adding to the sense of space.
The course features no less than 11 water featured holes. Designed in a loop, the course is challenging and rewarding, perfect for scratch players to test their mettle, yet still an enjoyable round for handicapped golfers.
There are 87 players that have entered for the tournament. They come from countries including South Africa Eswatini, Zimbabwe, France, Spain, England, Belgium, Rwanda and the United States of America (USA) among others.
