NGCULWINI – Ehawini Lifestyle is turning up the heat this April with its highly anticipated Coolerbox Party Sunday, set to take place on Sunday (April 27, 2025). Doors will open at 12 noon till late.
The vibrant event, which is free to enter, promises music, food, fun, and a festive atmosphere like no other. In an exclusive interview with Ehawini Lifestyle Manager Zeeyanda Shabalala, she revealed that the inspiration behind the party came from none other than the Makoti Festival. “The idea was inspired by Makoti Festival because the artists will be performing there, so why not Ehawini?”
A key highlight of the event is the coolerbox-friendly policy, a unique feature that sets it apart from previous parties held at the venue. “The fact that the coolerbox is allowed, that’s what sets this event apart from previous ones,” said Shabalala. However, there’s a clear rule: “Cooler boxes are allowed only until 6 PM; after that, attendees will have to pay,” she emphasizes.
The entertainment line-up is stacked with talent, including:

– Sheila Mahoze
– Ngwana Mitch Shabbisto

Culinary Offerings
Beyond the beats, foodies can look forward to a delicious variety of traditional cuisine. “There will be tribe, inhloko yenkhomo, makhaya chicken, and also chicken and beef stew,” Shabalala shared.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, Shabalala assured that proper security will be in place. “There will be bouncer securities and barricades to ensure safety and crowd control during the event,” she said.
