MBABANE – With a warm smile and an assured tone, Marc A. Weinstock, the newly appointed Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in Eswatini, has set the stage for a future of deeper cooperation, shared prosperity, and mutual respect between the two nations.
From the moment he addressed the nation, Marc’s message was clear, the friendship between the United States and Eswatini is not only historic but also ripe for a new chapter of growth.
“The United States and Eswatini share a strong and enduring partnership built on mutual respect, shared values, and a common vision for a healthier, more prosperous, and inclusive future,” he affirmed.
Weinstock’s expectations for his tenure center on expanding trade opportunities for U.S. products in Eswatini, strengthening public health collaborations such as HIV prevention and treatment through PEPFAR, and nurturing youth empowerment via initiatives like the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) and EducationUSA.
“The challenges we face as a global community are real, but so are the opportunities,” he said, expressing optimism that by working hand-in-hand, both nations can create an environment where every young person reaches their full potential and every community flourishes.
As he embarks on this diplomatic journey, Marc emphasized his eagerness to meet the people of Eswatini, learn from their experiences, and foster partnerships that leave a lasting impact. “From the U.S. Embassy family to yours, thank you for your partnership, your friendship, and trust. I look forward to meeting many of you in the months ahead and to continuing this important journey together,” he concluded.
Marc Weinstock’s arrival marks not just a change of leadership at the U.S. Embassy, but a renewed promise of cooperation, innovation, and shared progress between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the United States.
