MBABANE– Excitement is building ahead of tomorrow’s 10km marathon at the Police Academy, as the 2025 edition of the NATCOM Cup continues to inspire fitness and community spirit across the country.
The race is scheduled to kick off bright and early at 6:00 a.m., with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and members of the public expected to lace up their running shoes for the highly anticipated event.
The NATCOM Cup, which has already showcased a variety of sporting activities, is designed to promote fitness, wellness, and camaraderie among participants, while also fostering unity and community engagement through sport. Tomorrow’s marathon is set to attract both seasoned runners and first-timers eager to test their endurance on a challenging yet safe course.

Organisers have assured participants that the Police Academy route has been carefully mapped out, with water points and medical support strategically placed along the way to ensure a smooth and enjoyable race experience.
“We invite all Emaswati to come in their numbers to the Police Academy for the 10km marathon. Regional commissioners and managers are reminded to bring a list of those who will be running tomorrow,” said Hurube.
Supporters and families are strongly encouraged to turn up in large numbers to cheer on the runners, adding to the vibrant and festive atmosphere expected at the Police Academy tomorrow morning.
With everything in place, the stage is set for a thrilling and memorable 10km marathon that promises to highlight not only athletic excellence but also the power of sport in uniting the nation.
