MBABANE- Athletics Eswatini is proud to announce that Mancoba Nhlabatsi, a promising long-distance runner from REPS Athletics Club, has been awarded a three-month scholarship training camp in Maseru, Lesotho. The camp, running from 01 September to 30 November 2025, represents a vital investment in his athletic journey and the broader vision of nurturing sporting excellence in the Kingdom.
The programme, fully endorsed by the Eswatini Sport and Recreation Council (ESRC), is part of a deliberate high-performance development pathway designed to sharpen skills, expose athletes to competitive environments, and prepare them for success on the international stage.
The ESRC has been commended for its unwavering commitment to advancing athlete development through such initiatives. Its role in endorsing and supporting scholarships reflects a long-term vision to position Eswatini athletes among the continent’s and the world’s best.
Speaking on the scholarship, Athletics Eswatini emphasized the significance of this milestone:
