MBABANE– The spirit of unity, discipline and cultural pride returned to the Royal Fields at Mfabantfu, as Libutfo regiments resumed weeding, duties following weeks of disruption caused by persistent heavy rains across the country.
After nearly two weeks of continuous rainfall that temporarily halted activities, thousands of warriors turned out in large numbers to answer the Royal call, bringing renewed energy and purpose to the fields. The resumption of weeding marked a significant moment, symbolising resilience, obedience and the enduring bond between the nation and the Monarchy.
The main Royal field, Imfabantfu, came alive as regiments worked in unison, their rhythmic songs and coordinated movements echoing across the landscape. The sight of the warriors clearing the fields with enthusiasm and determination reflected a deep sense of duty and commitment to preserving cultural traditions.
Observers described the atmosphere as vibrant and uplifting, with teamwork and high morale evident among the regiments. The weeding commenced on a high note, setting a positive tone for the continuation of royal duties that had been paused due to adverse weather conditions.
