SCREAMING TO MEET KING MSWATI III EARNS WOMAN A JOB IN GOVT

MBABANE – It has paid off.

Gabisile Mavuso, the 24-year- woman who two weeks ago screamed her way to meet His Majesty King Mswati III during his touring of the Eswatini Oil Mill (EOMI), formerly known as SOMI will now become a civil servant.

Though she dropped out of school at Form IV due to the fact that her parents could not afford school fees, Mavuso’s effort to sought audience with the King has brought hope to the family as they have been promised normal life.

The good news was revealed by the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Thuli Dladla during her assessment visit commissioned by the King.

Dladla also disclosed that government will further construct a new home for the family at a place yet to be communicated.

Currently, Mavuso and her family resides at Matsapha industrial in a place location known as eTingulubeni. Following that this place a private property, the family has been ordered to vacate.

Mavuso drew attention when she screamed for a chance to have an audience with the king.

“I do not know where to start. Even now I am nervous,” said Mavuso, in a video clip posted by the Times of Eswatini.

When asked what was going on in her mind, Mavuso said she did not know what was going on in her mind as she was confused.
“I do not know what happened because I was confused when I screamed to have an audience with the King,” she said.

Her determination and courage captured a lot of attention across the country, highlighting her willingness to pursue opportunities. Her story serves as an inspiration.
