MBABANE– The capital city is set to come alive with the sound of romance this Friday as the amazing Mainstream hosts a special Valentine’s edition of Swazi Plaza Nights.
Scheduled for February 13, 2026, the event will see Mainstream directing the fun and proceedings under the theme “Love Lives Here.” Mbabane’s premier shopping hub is ready to transform its atmosphere with a high-energy fusion of smooth jazz, powerful vocals, and veteran deck mastery.
Leading the musical charge is one of Eswatini’s most celebrated vocalists, Samantha, who is expected to deliver a repertoire of classic love songs and fan favorites. She will be joined by the award-winning saxophonist ZwiLe, known for his unique ability to blend genres with a smooth, soulful energy that has made him a household name in the local jazz scene.
Supporting the live performances is the highly sought-after instrumentalist Phumla D. Renowned for his skills on the keys and bass, Phumla D has earned a reputation as the “maestro” behind some of the country’s top talent, ensuring the night’s melodies hit a professional high note for both Samantha and ZwiLe.
To keep the rhythm flowing between sets, veteran DJ MixMash will be on the decks. Serving a seamless blend of old-school classics and the latest heat, MixMash is set to keep the Mbabane crowd moving all night long.
In a move to make the celebration accessible to all, organisers have announced that entry is free. A variety of food and beverage options, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will be available for purchase throughout the night.
To sweeten the experience, Swazi Plaza management revealed that special Valentine’s Day vouchers will be given away during the event.
