MBABANE- At just 24 years old, Christine Ngomane is proving that determination and creativity can open doors even when formal employment opportunities are scarce.

Currently residing in Sdwashini, Mbabane, the young entrepreneur is building her future through multiple side hustles while sharpening her professional skills.

Ngomane, who holds an Associate Degree in Hotel Management from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, says her academic journey helped her develop strong emotional intelligence and communication skills. During her studies, she interacted with people from diverse backgrounds, an experience that taught her how to read a room and connect with different personalities, a skill she believes is essential in leadership and customer-focused industries.

Despite being unemployed at the moment, Ngomane has refused to remain idle. Instead, she has turned to entrepreneurship and service-based opportunities to sustain herself. One of her key roles is working as a promoter for Eswatini Beverages during major local events such as Bushfire and Luju Festival. At these events, she engages with crowds, promotes products and helps create excitement around the brand.

“I enjoy interacting with people and creating a lively atmosphere during events,” Ngomane shared. “It allows me to use the people skills I developed during my studies.”

Beyond event promotions, Ngomane also runs a small service assisting local shoppers to access international fashion. As a SHEIN runner, she helps emaSwati place orders from the popular online clothing store, which does not deliver directly to Eswatini. Customers send their orders through her, and she places them on their behalf for a small runner’s fee. Her business page on Facebook is called Shein Besties, where customers can easily connect with her.

In addition, Ngomane is working hard to build another passion , makeup artistry. Although she has not yet started charging for the service, she is currently offering free makeup sessions to friends and community members in order to sharpen her skills.

“I believe practice makes perfect,” she said.

People interested in her services can contact Christine Ngomane on 79622678 via call or text. She is also active on social media under the name Christine Dee Ngomane on Facebook and TikTok, and @ngomanechristine on Instagram.

With resilience and ambition, Ngomane continues to hustle while preparing for even bigger opportunities ahead.
