MBABANE – The Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Eswatini has launched a nationwide roadshow, attracting large crowds in Manzini on Monday eager to explore creative education opportunities, learn how to apply, and discover the benefits of tertiary education.
The Manzini campus kicked off the outreach initiative as part of a broader effort to connect directly with prospective students and communities across Eswatini. The roadshow offers an immersive experience designed to highlight the university’s creative learning environment, diverse academic programmes, and career pathways for young people.
Day one in Manzini proved highly successful, drawing an enthusiastic turnout. Students, parents, and community members visited the activation site to engage with university staff, ask questions, and receive step-by-step guidance on the application process. The event created an energetic and interactive atmosphere, with demonstrations and discussions showcasing how Limkokwing equips students with skills for modern, innovative careers.
“Our aim is to make higher education accessible and appealing to all young emaSwati,” said a university representative. “We are committed to providing clear information about programmes, admissions, and student life, and the turnout in Manzini has exceeded expectations.”
According to updates shared on the university’s social media platforms, the Manzini roadshow marks the beginning of a series of nationwide engagements designed to encourage young people to pursue creative and professional opportunities. The campaign seeks to highlight the relevance of creative industries in today’s economy and inspire students to explore careers in design, technology, media, and the arts.
For those who missed the first day, the roadshow continues at the Manzini Bus Rank from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visitors will have the chance to learn about the university’s wide range of courses, scholarship opportunities, and student support services, while gaining practical guidance on how to enrol.
University staff emphasised that the success of the first day demonstrates a growing interest among young people in creative education and professional development. By visiting communities directly, Limkokwing aims to break down barriers to higher education and make information more readily available to those who may otherwise face challenges in accessing tertiary education.
Beyond providing practical advice on admissions, the roadshow also serves as a platform to inspire creativity and innovation. Attendees were encouraged to think about their future careers, explore emerging industries, and consider how a Limkokwing education can equip them with the skills needed to thrive in a competitive job market.
The initiative is part of the university’s wider mission to cultivate a culture of creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurship in Eswatini. By engaging students early, Limkokwing hopes to nurture the next generation of leaders, innovators, and creative professionals who will contribute to national development.
Organisers expressed their gratitude to all attendees, noting that the large and enthusiastic turnout reflects the growing enthusiasm for tertiary education and the value of creative skills in shaping successful careers. The ongoing roadshows will continue to travel to other regions across the country, providing more opportunities for students to interact directly with the university and explore their academic futures.
“Creative education is more than a qualification—it is a pathway to opportunity, innovation, and personal growth,” said the representative. “We are delighted to see so many young emaSwati taking an active interest in shaping their futures, and we look forward to welcoming them to our campus soon.”
The nationwide roadshow is set to continue over the coming weeks, giving students and communities throughout Eswatini the chance to engage with Limkokwing University, ask questions, and learn how to unlock their potential through higher education.
