NGUDZENI – Emerging Eswatini artist Cy Ndukwemnyama, born Sanele Mamba from Sigwe eNgudzeni, has officially released his latest cultural anthem titled “Siyalobola Gogo” on May 9, 2026, a song that celebrates Swati customs, marriage values and the importance of preserving tradition.
Currently studying Social Sciences at the University of Eswatini, Cy Ndukwemnyama said his upbringing played a huge role in shaping both his music and identity.
“I come from a traditional home setting where indvodza is the head of the family and umfati is the second in command. My father was big in Swati traditions and customs, which had an influence in my brand now,” he said.
The artist attended Maloma Primary School before moving to Ngudzeni FEA for secondary education, where he transitioned from poetry into music. He later completed high school at Elulakeni High School.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Cy Ndukwemnyama explained that “Siyalobola Gogo” is deeply rooted in Swati culture and serves as a continuation of his previous single “Lembali Ngeyami.”
“The song was inspired by our Swati culture generally. ‘Siyalobola Gogo’ celebrates paying the bride price and honouring our traditions,” he said.

He further explained that the song also carries an important social message about marriage roles and respect within families.
“It carries a message about how a wife should carry herself and play her part to keep the marriage afloat, and of course how to take care of her husband. Overall, it promotes respect, joy and strong family values in our Swati way,” said Cy Ndukwemnyama.
The song was engineered and produced by Sean Cast HQ, whom the artist praised highly.
“I didn’t choose him; I had no choice because he is the best at what he does and he understands me. I call him The Magician,” he said.
Cy Ndukwemnyama revealed that the project took nearly two months to complete, adding that fans should prepare their traditional regalia and expect a vibrant cultural experience through the music.
