MBABANE– Correctional Sunrise Volleyball Club continued its impressive run in local volleyball after both the men’s and women’s teams emerged champions in the Mulasport Series 3 tournament held at the Mavuso Sports Centre.
The club secured victories with the women’s side defeating Ecowater and Royal Warriors, while the men’s team overcame rivals Royal Warriors in a decisive final clash to complete another successful campaign.
The triumph saw Correctional Sunrise walk away with trophies, gold medals, and E4 000 prize money for each winning team, further cementing the club’s growing dominance in Eswatini volleyball.
The women’s team displayed resilience and consistency throughout the tournament, defeating Ecowater 3-1 before producing another strong performance to overcome Royal Warriors by the same score line. Their disciplined play and teamwork proved crucial in securing the title.
On the men’s side, Correctional Sunrise once again demonstrated composure under pressure in a highly anticipated encounter against Royal Warriors. The team secured a 3-1 victory in a match that attracted significant attention from volleyball supporters at the venue.
