LUDZIDZINI- His Holiness Unyazi Lwezulu has expressed admiration for the Ezulwini Palazzo International Convention Centre (ICC) saying its world-class design has inspired his vision to develop a modern church facility of similar standard back home.

He said this during the Sabbath Service held at Ludzidzini Royal Residence on May 29, 2026, which was graced by the presence of Her Majesty Indlovukazi, Emakhosikati, and other dignitaries.

“I have never seen such beauty before. I wish to build a church back home like this,” he said, drawing attention to the importance of modern, well-designed spaces that can support large congregations.

CALL FOR UNITY AMID SOCIAL MEDIA CRITICISM

Beyond his development aspirations, His Holiness used the platform to caution worshippers of the Nazareth Baptist Church against division and distractions caused by social media criticism.

He said some of the insults directed at church leadership on platforms such as TikTok should not be allowed to destabilise the faith community.

“Fighting leaders is someone who is not wise,” he said, urging congregants not to give space to voices that seek to divide the Church. He further called on worshippers to remain united and humble, particularly in their conduct towards their Majesties and spiritual leadership.

Reading from Ephesians 6:10, His Holiness encouraged believers to remain spiritually strong and grounded, saying faith must not be shaken by public criticism or online attacks.

“Do not allow the devil to divide you,” he warned, stressing that unity remains central to the strength of the Church.

SPIRITUAL MESSAGE OF LIGHT AND TRANSFORMATION

His Holiness also delivered a spiritual message centred on transformation and divine guidance, saying the Church continues to play a role in opening spiritual and social pathways.

“Shembe opens doors which are closed, and where there is darkness, light arrives,” he said.

ECONOMIC ACTIVITY BOOSTS LOCAL TRADERS

Meanwhile, business activity around the royal residence has increased significantly, with traders benefiting from the large gathering. Vendors have been selling food, beverages, and clothing to thousands of worshippers attending the service.

Traders said the event has provided a vital opportunity to earn income while serving the needs of congregants.

TESTIMONIES OF FAITH

During the service, worshippers also shared testimonies reflecting on their spiritual journeys. Nkanyiso Maphumulo from Durban, South Africa, said he has witnessed “many wonderful things” during his long association with the Church, including accounts of healing and spiritual restoration.

The Sabbath service remains central to the identity of the Nazareth Baptist Church, serving as a weekly moment of devotion, discipline, and unity for thousands of followers across the region.

As the gathering continues at Ludzidzini, the message from His Holiness remains focused on unity, spiritual discipline, and the pursuit of excellence both in faith and in development vision.
