MANZINI – South African Gospel Powerhouse Oncemore Six is set to take on a different role in the spotlight after revealing that he will serve as one of the guest judges for Eswatini Praise, a talent initiative pioneered by gospel veteran Sipho “Big Fish” Makhabane.

The singer shared the news while encouraging aspiring vocalists to take a chance on the platform and put their talent forward. Rather than keeping the focus on established names, Oncemore highlighted the opportunity for emerging singers to introduce themselves to a wider audience through the initiative.

“If you think you have what it takes to be part of this great initiative, record a 60-second video of yourself singing, post it on social media and tag Eswatini Praise,” he said. His involvement as a guest judge places him on the other side of the audition process, where he will be among those listening to and assessing the voices that come forward.

Oncemore spoke enthusiastically about Makhabane’s vision, describing Eswatini Praise as an initiative that could uncover more of the musical gifts within the kingdom.

He also encouraged aspiring singers to see the platform as an opportunity to step beyond simply singing for friends and family and instead allow their abilities to be seen by people within the industry.

“I’m even more excited to announce to you that I will be one of your guest judges,” he said. For an artist who is usually experienced through performances and recordings, the judging role offers Oncemore an opportunity to contribute to the development and discovery of other voices in the gospel space.

As aspiring singers prepare their 60-second submissions, the focus now shifts to the talent waiting to emerge and the voices that could become the next ones audiences hear on Eswatini’s gospel scene.
