MBABANE— Vocalists, this is your moment to shine!
Twelve (12) backing vocalists are needed to join the renowned South African gospel powerhouse, Dr Tumi, on stage for his much-anticipated revival night next month.
The choir auditions will be held at the Arts and Culture Offices in Manzini this Saturday, 6 June 2026, starting promptly at 8 AM. The Arts and Culture Centre is conveniently located opposite St Theresa Primary School and the Fitness Zone Building. Aspiring vocalists are encouraged to register for the auditions by paying a small fee of E20. For more details, interested singers can contact 7624 9454.
“We are looking for at least 12 vocalists who will be part of the main event of Dr Tumi Live in Eswatini,” shared Linda Dlamini, confirming the audition details. This is a golden opportunity to perform alongside one of gospel music’s brightest stars.
Dr Tumi, born Tumisang Victor Makweya in Seshego, Limpopo, South Africa, is not just a celebrated gospel artist but also a motivational speaker and qualified medical doctor. Known for his soul-stirring hits and deeply emotional worship performances, he has built a loyal following across Southern Africa. His songs continue to dominate gospel playlists and church gatherings, earning him several gospel music awards.
The revival and worship concert will take place at Mbabane Alliance Church on Sunday, 5 July 2026, and is expected to draw worshippers and music fans from across the kingdom for an evening filled with praise, inspiration, and powerful live ministry. The event will kick off at 5 PM and go on until late.
Organized by Kufeziwe Communications, this concert is part of a 2026 vision themed “A Year of Revival.” Fans can look forward to a vibrant lineup of both local and international gospel talents, including Linda Dlamini, Sphiwo Ndoni, Nothando Dlamini, Nelly Siwela, Shekinah Motsa, and many more.
Tickets are already on sale at E250 and can be purchased at Galito’s outlets in Manzini, Ezulwini, Matsapha, and Mbabane, as well as via Smart Ticket.
