MBABANE – The Organisation for Growth and Fulfilment (OGF) hosted an exclusive dinner at The Velvet Monkey on 30 May 2026, bringing together creatives, partners, sponsors and supporters for an evening dedicated to fellowship, appreciation and meaningful engagement.
The intimate gathering welcomed 30 invited guests and served as a platform for networking, inspiration and reflection on the organisation’s achievements and future aspirations. Guests arrived dressed elegantly for the occasion, contributing to an atmosphere of sophistication and celebration.
A highlight of the evening was a keynote address by Jumbo Khumalo, whose message encouraged guests to pursue purpose-driven leadership and personal growth. His remarks resonated with attendees and sparked thoughtful conversations throughout the event.
The programme was masterfully facilitated by poet MDZ, whose charisma and professionalism kept guests engaged while ensuring the evening flowed seamlessly. His ability to blend entertainment with meaningful dialogue added a unique touch to the gathering.
OGF Founder Tony Mabaso, popularly known as Anthonimass, and Managing Director Mbhekiseni Lukhele were among the key figures in attendance. The pair took time to personally acknowledge guests by presenting tokens of appreciation, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to gratitude, recognition and community building.
Another memorable moment came during the ceremonial cake-cutting, led by Communications Officer Banelile Simelane. The symbolic gesture marked a celebration of OGF’s journey and achievements while highlighting the strong relationships the organisation has built within the creative sector.
The event also recognised the important role played by sponsors and partners in supporting OGF’s initiatives. Representatives from Jonokuhle Upholstery and Eswatini Au Pair attended the dinner, demonstrating their continued commitment to the organisation’s programmes. Eswatini Au Pair remains the main sponsor of the upcoming OGF Poetry Awards, one of the organisation’s flagship events.
Several notable creatives and community members, including Blessing Dludlu, M Age and Ollie, were also present, contributing to discussions centred on creativity, collaboration and community development.
During the evening, OGF unveiled exciting plans for the months ahead, announcing the highly anticipated OGF Awards and the Words 7 Poetry Show. The announcement was met with enthusiasm from attendees, many of whom expressed excitement about the opportunities these events will create for artists and creatives.
As the evening concluded, guests departed with renewed inspiration and stronger connections. More than just a social gathering, the dinner underscored OGF’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent, celebrating excellence and creating meaningful impact within Eswatini’s creative community.
