MATSAPHA- Anticipation is building among Swazi Rally supporters as organisers have confirmed that details of this year’s highly anticipated motorbike lucky draw competition will be unveiled within the next two to three weeks.
For weeks, speculation has been growing around what many have described as one of the most exciting attractions of the annual event. Now, Swazi Rally organiser Carlos Paiva has assured the public that the wait is almost over.
Speaking ahead of the official announcement, Paiva said rally enthusiasts can expect details of the competition and the grand prize very soon. The lucky draw winner will ride away with a brand-new motorbike as part of the Swazi Rally 2026 celebrations.
“Good things are worth waiting for,” said Paiva, while encouraging supporters to remain patient as organisers finalize preparations for the official reveal.
He emphasized that the prize is not a second-hand motorbike but a brand-new machine that will be handed over to one fortunate winner.
“It is a valuable prize that one lucky person will take home,” he said.
The announcement is expected to generate even greater excitement around the rally, which is set to take place from August 28 to 30, 2026. With thousands of bikers, tourists and entertainment lovers expected to descend on the Kingdom, organisers believe the lucky draw will add another thrilling dimension to an already action-packed programme.
However, according to Paiva, the Swazi Rally is no longer just about motorcycles. Over the past 33 years, the event has transformed into one of Eswatini’s premier tourism and entertainment spectacles, attracting visitors from across Southern Africa and beyond.
