EZULWINI- A celebration of women, fashion, and local talent is set to take centre stage in Ezulwini this August.
Ezulwini’s The Destination will come alive on August 9, 2025 with the much-anticipated event “Celebrating Women in Fashion”, hosted by Nkosephayo Chloe Vilakati, also known as Blackrose. The event aims to honour the creativity, strength, and resilience of women while shining a spotlight on Eswatini’s thriving fashion and entertainment scene.
“I got inspired since we are entering Women’s Month,” shared Chloe. “I figured it would be a perfect opportunity to celebrate and expose the designers we have in the country. An event meant to celebrate women felt like a must, women go through a lot on a daily basis and they deserve to be celebrated.”
This stylish occasion will feature a fashion show, live performances by local artists and DJs, and a vibrant creative market, all starting from 1PM till late, with free entry throughout the day. The celebration is strictly for 18+ attendees due to the nature of the venue, which serves alcoholic beverages.
Themed around “Women in Fashion,” the event will highlight female fashion designers and their interpretations of feminine fashion, while also welcoming male designers to present their collections in solidarity with Women’s Month.

Vic Art – known for streetwear infused with artistic elements.

“This event supports local designers, artists, and talent by giving them a platform to showcase their skills and gain exposure,” said Chloe. “We’ve also made space for stalls so more people can showcase their craft and even make money while doing what they love.”
In an effort to make the event accessible, free transport will be provided from Manzini and Mbabane. As for the dress code? Chloe encourages guests to, “Swag up, get that drip on lock, and express your style freely!”
