MBABANE – A wave of appreciation and admiration marked the official launch of Asibambaneni Sibengumndeni Season 2, with strong recognition directed at Deputy Prime Minister Thulisile Dladla for her continued commitment to national service and family centred development initiatives.
The launch, held at the EBIS Auditorium, brought together senior government officials, stakeholders, and media practitioners under one roof to celebrate a programme widely regarded as a critical platform for addressing social and family challenges across Eswatini.
At the heart of the event was a strong tribute to the Deputy Prime Minister, who was repeatedly praised by Cabinet members for her hands on leadership and dedication to community transformation. Minister of ICT Savannah Maziya and Minister of Education Owen Nxumalo both highlighted the Deputy Prime Minister’s exemplary service, describing her as a leader whose work reflects deep loyalty, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the nation and Their Majesties.
They applauded her for consistently championing initiatives that uplift vulnerable communities, strengthen families, and promote unity across the country. The ministers further emphasized that her approach to leadership has inspired cross sector collaboration, bringing together government, media, and civil society in addressing pressing social issues.
Asibambaneni Sibengumndeni, broadcast on EBIS Radio and Eswatini TV, continues to serve as a powerful storytelling and engagement platform that highlights real-life challenges faced by families and communities. Through its interactive format, the programme encourages dialogue, awareness, and practical solutions to social concerns ranging from household conflict to broader community wellbeing.
During the launch, programme presenters Busisekile Gamedze and Khaya Dlamini showcased selected segments, offering attendees a glimpse into the lived realities of many emaSwati. The presentations sparked reflection among officials, many of whom acknowledged the importance of continued support for such initiatives.
