LOBAMBA-Football and entertainment fans can officially mark their calendars after South African rapper and HipHop FC captain Big Zulu confirmed that his star-studded side will travel to Eswatini for the much-anticipated Kingdom Celebrity Cup on 1 August 2026 at Somhlolo Stadium.
The exciting celebrity football encounter will see Kingdom Celebrity Club (KCC) face off against South Africa’s HipHop FC in a match expected to bring together some of the biggest names in music, comedy and entertainment from both countries.
Putting an end to speculation, Big Zulu confirmed that HipHop FC will arrive in full force for the historic clash.
“On 1 August we will be at Somhlolo Stadium as HipHop FC. We will be there full force. Let’s all be present,” said Big Zulu.
His confirmation has heightened excitement among football lovers and music fans, with many already looking forward to seeing some of South Africa’s biggest stars swap microphones for football boots.
According to the confirmed squad, HipHop FC will feature celebrated personalities including Cassper Nyovest, William Last KRM, Sweet Guluva, Lindough, Donald, Sonic, Phutego, Senzo Afrika and Mapensela, among others.
They will take on a Kingdom Celebrity Club side captained by Young Zesh, alongside familiar Eswatini entertainment figures such as Sancheziey, Lyrikal Busta, Gogo Eswatini, Aya City, Sgitha, Greg Mamba, Cool Drop and several other local celebrities.
The Kingdom Celebrity Cup aims to unite sport and entertainment by giving fans a rare opportunity to watch their favourite artists and content creators compete on the football field while celebrating talent from Eswatini and South Africa.
With Big Zulu’s confirmation now official, anticipation continues to build for what promises to be one of the Kingdom’s biggest entertainment and sporting spectacles of the year, as thousands of supporters are expected to fill Somhlolo Stadium for an afternoon of football, fun and unforgettable celebrity action.
