MVEMBILI – Mvembili Lutheran Primary School is expanding its learning infrastructure through the construction of a new classroom, a development expected to create additional space for teaching and learning at the school.
The school is situated in Mvembili under Timphisini Inkhundla in the Hhohho Region. Government records identify Mvembili as one of the chiefdoms within Timphisini Inkhundla, while education records list Emvembili Lutheran Primary School among schools in the Hhohho Region.
The construction of the classroom is aimed at strengthening the school’s infrastructure and providing learners with a more suitable environment for their academic activities. The additional facility is expected to ease pressure on existing classrooms and accommodate the school’s learning needs.
Timphisini Indvuna yeNkhundla James Vilane welcomed developments aimed at improving infrastructure within communities, emphasising the importance of people working towards development rather than waiting solely for government intervention.
“As much as we need more assistance from government, the people should not relax but must stand up for their development,” Vilane has previously said while encouraging community-led development initiatives.
The classroom project highlights the role of infrastructure in supporting quality education, as adequate learning space can contribute to a better teaching and learning environment for both pupils and teachers.
For the pupils of Mvembili Lutheran Primary School, the new classroom represents more than a physical structure. It is an investment in their education and an opportunity to learn in an environment with improved facilities.
The development also reflects the broader importance of strengthening school infrastructure in rural communities, where improved classrooms and other facilities can help create better conditions for learners.
As construction progresses, the school community is expected to benefit from additional teaching space that will support the school’s educational needs and contribute to its continued development.
