ENKHABA- Enkhaba Constituency had turned to prayer not only for spiritual guidance, but also for continued progress in community development, with a number of projects highlighted as key achievements in the constituency.
Member of Parliament for Enkhaba Constituency, Honourable Hope Shiba, highlighted several developments that have been undertaken to improve services and infrastructure for residents.
According to Hon. Shiba, the constituency has seen progress in areas including education, electricity, roads and community infrastructure. Among the projects highlighted are the new administration block at St Paul’s, staff housing at Nkomazi, the Mayuka Multipurpose Project and electricity projects.
Road infrastructure has also been identified as an important area of development, with projects mentioned at Mahebedla and Mashawa. Hon. Shiba further highlighted the construction of nine classrooms at Jukweni Primary School, with assistance from Micro-Projects.
“We have nine classrooms at Jukweni Primary School with the help of Micro-Projects,” said Hon. Shiba, highlighting the contribution of development partners towards improving learning facilities in the constituency.
The MP also pointed to the need for continued investment in road infrastructure, particularly the Manqapina Road, which she hopes will eventually be concreted to improve accessibility for communities.
The development projects come at a time when Enkhaba Constituency is holding a prayer initiative aimed at seeking God’s guidance over the affairs of the Inkhundla.
The prayer focuses on the development of the constituency, His Majesty the King, Government, traditional leadership and community leadership. It also seeks divine intervention for peace, unity and Godly leadership, while praying for families, businesses, young people and the overall development of communities.
For Enkhaba, the initiative provides an opportunity for residents and leaders to reflect on the progress already made while seeking guidance for future development.
With infrastructure, education, roads and community projects remaining central to the constituency’s development agenda, the prayer gathering reinforces the call for unity and collective responsibility in driving further progress.
