MANZINI– South African singing duo the Qwabe Twins brought their sound to the Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) 2026 on Monday, following their appearance at the Umhlanga Reed Dance over the weekend.
The twins were among the performers who took to the stage during the ongoing trade fair, adding a musical touch to the public holiday programme.
Their appearance came shortly after they were spotted attending Umhlanga on Saturday, giving them an opportunity to experience one of Eswatini’s biggest cultural celebrations before returning to the stage for EITF audiences.
The back-to-back appearances highlighted the connection between the country’s cultural calendar and entertainment scene, with the twins moving from a traditional celebration to a commercial and entertainment platform just days later.
Their presence at Umhlanga also placed them among visitors from outside Eswatini who were able to witness the annual ceremony, while their EITF performance gave local audiences another opportunity to see the South African duo perform live.
The Qwabe Twins have built a following through their music and performances, and their EITF appearance formed part of the entertainment programme running alongside the trade and business activities at Mavuso Sports Centre.
With the EITF continuing until 6 September, the twins’ performance added to a week that has already brought together exhibitors, entrepreneurs, artists and visitors from across the region.
For the twins, their visit offered more than a stage appearance, as their weekend in Eswatini combined a taste of the country’s cultural heritage with an opportunity to connect with audiences through music.
