MBABANE – A packed lineup of emerging DJs, familiar party names and fresh faces is set to take over IF’s Lounge Mbabane this Friday as Party Yama 2000 brings its 2K-inspired celebration to the capital.
Organised by entertainer Thabiso Khumalo, popularly known as Sgitha wama2k, the event will take place on September 25, 2026, from 5pm until late, with Sgitha promising that the addition of new talent will make this edition different from an ordinary Friday night.
The latest development comes directly from the organiser, who teased the expanded lineup on his Facebook page, telling his followers:
“Introduced new faces and talented guys into the show and trust me it’s not going to be a normal Friday Let’s meet at IF’s Lounge Mbabane this coming Friday”
His message places the spotlight on the new and upcoming talent joining the Party Yama 2000 experience, while also challenging partygoers to expect more than the usual night out.
The lineup features Sgitha, Ayacity, Sbu De Drum DJ, Bay Bash, Gifted Kosie, Stunner De Royal, Juzzy Beats, Sancheziey, Thaifo Son, Lord-Fx, Mzoro, Percy, Ricko, Tsai, Suchie, M4L and Splash, with MC Siya taking charge of the mic.
For Sgitha, the event is designed around the generation that has supported his journey, with the concept built to carry a recognisable 2K energy throughout the night.
This time, however, the emphasis is also on giving emerging creatives room to be heard.
The organiser previously explained that many of the DJs on the lineup are upcoming talents, making the event an opportunity for them to showcase their skills, connect with other creatives and introduce themselves to a wider audience.
The evidence of that approach is visible in the expanded roster, which brings together a large mix of DJs and performers rather than relying on a single headline act.
Party Yama 2000 will be hosted at IF’s Lounge Mbabane, with entry set at E50 at the gate. The dress code is neat and clean, giving the event a polished feel while keeping the focus firmly on music, dancing and entertainment.
For partygoers, the message is simple: Friday is not just another Friday.
With Sgitha adding new faces to the show and teasing an energetic experience, Party Yama 2000 is positioning itself as a platform where the 2K generation and Eswatini’s emerging DJs can meet on the same dance floor.
