MATSAPHA – Customers and businesses in Matsapha stand to benefit from a more convenient, efficient banking experience as First National Bank (FNB) Eswatini reopens its revamped Matsapha Branch, which features an improved layout and additional self-service facilities to better meet their banking needs.
The branch reopened on October 20, 2026, following renovations announced in August, with the refurbishment aimed at accommodating FNB’s growing customer base in Matsapha and surrounding areas. The upgrades focused on optimising the branch layout and internal processes to improve service efficiency and create a modern banking environment.
FNB Eswatini Chief Operating Officer Thandeka Dlamini said Matsapha was a key service point for the bank, serving a diverse range of personal and business customers.
“Matsapha is one of our high-traffic service points, supporting both personal and business customers. As customer needs continue to evolve, we recognised the opportunity to reimagine the branch experience and invest in a space that better serves our customers,” Dlamini said.

She said the investment reflected FNB’s commitment to innovation and maintaining high standards of service as banking needs continued to change.
The refurbishment forms part of the bank’s broader strategy to strengthen its physical branch network alongside its digital banking platforms. Dlamini said FNB remained committed to ensuring that emaSwati could access banking services through channels suited to their individual needs.
“As we continue to expand and enhance our digital banking solutions, we remain equally committed to investing in our branch network to ensure that banking services remain accessible, convenient and relevant for all emaSwati,” she said.
The revamped branch will continue to offer FNB’s full range of sales and service offerings, including account opening, card replacement and account maintenance.

Customers will also have access to an increased number of self-service devices in the adjacent ATM lobby, providing facilities for cash deposits and withdrawals and offering more options for completing routine transactions.
The investment reinforces FNB Eswatini’s approach of combining digital innovation with accessible in-person banking, ensuring customers and businesses can continue to access services through channels that suit their needs.
