MBABANE – An exciting opportunity for Eswatini’s youth is on the horizon as Georgetown University’s Center for Global Health Practice & Impact (GU CGHPI) partners with the Royal Science and Technology Park to launch the Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) Digital Health Hackathon for HIV Prevention and Care.
This initiative aims to empower young innovators to create digital health solutions that address barriers to accessing HIV prevention and care, while also strengthening collaborations among healthcare providers, digital health experts, and Eswatini’s tech community.
The hackathon invites teams of two to three (2 to 3) members, including at least one female participant, to develop creative, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that enhance access to HIV services for Adolescent Girls and Young Women.
The event will culminate in the selection of a winning team, which will have the unique opportunity to work alongside Georgetown University to refine their solution, potentially transforming HIV care in Eswatini.
