The highly anticipated Artist Development and Support Workshop, set to take place on  Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the American Corner, Manzini Library, is officially fully booked.

This was shared by New Life Entertainment Thembinkosi Mthethwa today. He said, “New Life Entertainment in collaboration with The U.S Embassy, is thrilled to announce that the highly anticipated Artist Development and Support Workshop, is now fully booked.”

He went on to share that all available slots were filled within 24 hours of the announcement, underscoring the incredible enthusiasm and demand from the local arts community.

According to Mthethwa, this workshop, organized as a build-up to the much-awaited Divas Concert, promises to empower artists with critical tools and insights to elevate their careers. Attendees will benefit from a range of engaging sessions covering key aspects of the music and entertainment industry, including:

  •         Financial Literacy: Mastering the money mindset, understanding bookings, and managing agency fees.
  •         Copyrights: Safeguarding intellectual property and creative works.
  •         Artists Grants: Exploring funding opportunities to support artistic growth.
  •         Branding: Building and sustaining a compelling public image.

While the workshop is primarily designed to support female artists ahead of the Divas Concert, it also welcomes male artists, ensuring an inclusive environment that fosters growth and collaboration. Performing artists, both established and emerging, will have the opportunity to network, share experiences, and gain practical knowledge to thrive in their creative endeavours.
